VCPUSD Bond Measure SS
Valley Center-Pauma Unified School District is dedicated to inspiring our students to explore limitless possibilities for their future. To realize this potential, our students, staff, and community must have school facilities that cultivate learning and provide a safe environment for all to succeed. With an average age of 44 years, our school sites, while historical, beautiful, and well-maintained, need upgrades and renovations. Along with site maintenance and repair, removing aging portable classrooms, and improving safety and school security, the District plans to expand Career and Technical Education (CTE) facilities, update libraries and classrooms, and provide new, up-to-date learning spaces to prepare our students to be successful in school and beyond.
The VCPUSD Board of Trustees approved a bond measure resolution on May 9, 2024, to be included on the November 5, 2024 general election ballot. If local voters approve Measure SS, these funds cannot be taken from our community or repurposed for other use. The measure would provide the bond proceeds necessary to renovate and modernize the local schools that our community’s children attend.
