Indian Education Title VI
Title VI is designed to ensure that our Native American students meet the challenging state academic content standards. Our goal is to continue strengthening our collaboration with parents and tribal members to meet the unique needs of our Native American students.
INDIAN EDUCATION PARENT COMMITTEE
Parent involvement is a key to the success of Native students. As a part of the Indian Education Act of 1972, the Title VI Parent Committee is a collective of elected members comprised of parents, teachers, and students who meet regularly throughout the school year.
The Parent Committee works with the Director of Special Projects to serve an advisory role for the Indian Education program.
